The KVL protects the compressor motor against overload during start-up after long standstill periods or after defrost periods.

KVL crankcase regulators are installed in the suction line of refrigeration systems. They are used to protect the compressor motor against overload experienced during startup after long off periods or just after defrost periods.

Regulating range 0.2 - 6.0 bar, factory setting 2 bar, max. working pressure 18 bar. Access port: ¼ in. Schrader valve for pressure testing. Max. test pressure KVL 12 -22 = 28 bar KVL 28 - 35 = 25.6 bar Maximum P-band KVL 12 - 22 = 2.0 bar KVL 28 - 35 = 1.5 bar
